They are a choice to do things your way — to center your experience, your connection, and your story without distraction. Whether it is just the two of you or a small group of your closest people, elopements create space for moments that feel unhurried and deeply felt.
I photograph elopements the same way I experience them- observant, unhurried, and deeply present. With a documentary foundation and an editorial sensibility, I allow the day to move at its own pace while preserving the moments that would otherwise pass quietly: the pause before a vow, the way your hands find each other, the atmosphere of the place you chose.
Elopements are an intentional choice. They strip away the noise and leave room for meaning, connection, and freedom. There is no script to follow, no performance to give, only the experience itself. My role is to document it as it truly feels, creating imagery that is honest, artful, and reflective of the life you are stepping into together.
